Results – Tata Mumbai Marathon 2018

Mumbai Marathon is one of Asia’s biggest mass-participation running events. Approximately 44,000 runners took to the roads in Mumbai for six different races over varying distance.

Double win for Ethiopian runners at the Tata Mumbai Marathon as Amane Gobena (Female category) and Solomon Deksisa (Male category) won at the IAAF Silver Label road race in 2:25:49 & 2:09:34 respectively.

In Indian Runners category, Gopi Thonakal (Male category) and Sudha Singh (Female category) were the best Indian runners in 2:16:51 & 2:48:32 respectively. Nitendra Singh Rawat, who holds the course record among Indian men at the Mumbai and Delhi’s marathon circuits, finished second this year.

The third positions in both categories were taken up by two full marathon debutants. In the men’s, Srinu Bugatha finished the race in 2:23:56 while, in the women’s, Parul Chowdhary completed it in 2:50:47.

    I sure like to have lists of completed race result FROM 1sT to the last.
    I am been searching on computer since I left the India, after finishing the super Mumbai Marathon on 21/01/2018.
    It was the well planed event and The Mumbaikers of all ages put -up the marvelous show by coming out very early. The family’s were giving out the refreshment from there own expenses. Surely it was very impress. It remind me of Late Raj Kapoor ki kahawaat Mehman to Bagavan ho thai hai. Every race runners were treat with politeness & wishing us for well being. Hope to come back for more races in near future.
