History Made! Eliud Kipchoge breaks sub 2 hour marathon hurdle

And he has done it again, just a year ago he set a new marathon world record with a time of 02:01:39 hrs and now this – In Ineos159 Challenge in Vienna, he produced the fastest time ever for the 42.2km distance, clocking 1:59:40 on 12th October 2019.

Sub 2 hour marathon is an incredible feat. He is the first human to break this hurdle – it’s unbelievable.

Eliud Kipchoge, the greatest long-distance runner of all time, finally made history. He is also the Olympic marathon champion, 3 times World marathon majors series champion and a WORLD MARATHON CHAMPION.
