Results – Airtel Delhi Half Marathon 2018

A prestigious IAAF gold label marathon is one of the major long distance events of India. Unlikely previous years, this time it has happened in October – A step to avoid November smog issues.

In Women’s category, Tsehay Gemechu smashed the course record with 1:06:49 and finishes 1st in the podium. She bettered the previous record of Mary Keitany by four seconds. Current women’s half marathon world record holder, Joyciline Jepkosgei clinched the silver medal completing the race at 1:06:56. The Airtel Delhi half marathon timing of Tirunesh Dibaba (Baby Faced Destroyer) is 1:08:37, she finished 6th. She is the greatest female long distance runner of all time.
